Yes Dave I was concerned at the beginning, but agree now they've all been built . They look a natural group that you might see .

T'as fait un tres bon depart sur la construction de ton cafe. Le menuiserie a l'air tout a fait convaincant. J'attends que les figures soient complete et je viendrai pour un cafe croissant.

You made a very good start on the construction of your cafe. The carpentry looks quite convincing. I'm waiting for the tricks to be complete and I'll come for a coffee croissant.

Yes John, I will join you in that......hopefully JR will have employed the "portly" patissari princess to serve us our sweet breads and tea.

Been following this with deep interest John and have to say it's excellent! I have a couple of the sets of figures you propose to use in (unfinished) dioramas - they certainly add interest and depth to scenes! Look forward to your renditions and final masterpiece!

Now it might have been noticed by the keen eyed members there hasn't been a pictorial update recently. All is however not lost .
Work has been moving along , very tedious at times , measuring and cutting both timbers and foam board . It was pointless showing a mass of cut sections .
This afternoon I painted the board above the cafe / bar and the new entrance . At the same time I've been busy on Dormer windows and the roof . Next come the decision whether to have slates or lead as the main covering . More research is needed on the part , so hopefully there will be some photos tomorrow.

Just read that the main roofing material was Zinc sheet . Easy to cut and fit and waterproof ! Sounds good .Now will have to find some zinc paints or use grey !
                              Thank you .
