Right ready for some box dio work, so sit back, grab a cuppa.

I've been steadily working on the left and right hand walls, finished the brick work on the buttresses, cloaked the upper angled area and built as stair case.

First photos show the structure as the sides were lined up. you have to remember which part sits on and buts up , so leaving a 5 mm line where this happens .

While some parts were drying I removed the cap and made the head look more Russian, bald.Found that a brush of TET over the head smoothed out the sanding marks. Also did this when removing the trousers bottoms and making into a boot line.

Loving it John, the distressed brickwork looks the dogs.

Hi JR, this is really shaping up nicely.......will it be done by weeks end?......I'd kinda like to move in by next week if possible! And Tim is spot on about the stairs (ladder) with no landing at the top, must be a real challenge coming out of that upper apartment. :tears-of-joy:......the building inspector is scheduled in along with Matron incase there's a row over the appropriate codes being ignored!

Lovely masonry, but the staircase is magnificent.

Rick your quite right , I realised this after the photo was taken so added a top step .
Not to regs, your right, but they didn't have them in the old days :smiling3:
Just looked up the angle of commercial stairs, from 45 Deg to 70 !

The stairs look great John, a bit steep maybe for home, but fine for a barn!
