As to chucks, they are pretty much driven by their stomachs…..a handful of corn and you could catch all three on your own LOL….that’s how we catch ours if we need to :thumb2:
Quite so Tim, I can agree with you .
Your not going to tell me you eat any of your ladies are you , ( chickens ) ?

      453. Don't know wot permutations is. Is it summat to do with a woman's hair do?

Re. the chickens. When they are eventually caught, I recommend Paxo with chopped Brussel Sprouts and crispy smoked bacon all mixed up and shoved up the Parson's nose. ( Other makes of stuffing are of course available)

570 off to make a cocoa!

God no……they get a good comfortable life with us, and then get buried in the garden with full honours when they pass. In the recent cold snap they were given porridge first thing to warm them up after the cold nights. They are all ex battery so life was hard enough for them before they came to us without having to worry about going in the pot. The state they are in when you first get them is quite distressing.

I remember you saying they were ex battery hens, nice too think they're loved and have a great remainder of their lives . No doubt then hints on catching not eating !

Just went through it all john, sorry I don't tag along during all these pages, time will just not allow it, but I have scrutinized the entire thread and must say
you are doing some wonderful work on quite an ambitious project.
I especially love all the woodwork and that Russian SPG is quite a project in itself. Hell, I'm having problems just trying to fish up a stupid armored car!

My huge Dragon Wagon dio on it's gigantic base is a woefully incomplete dust covered ghost town/vehicle graveyard sitting up in the attic:disappointed2:
My "Children of the grave" wounded soldier dio is also on a man cave shelf but has not been relegated to the attic....yet.
I hear my poor "children" crying out...."please don't forget us!"

Winter is supposed to be my time for tending the fires, sipping hot toddies and working on my modeling.
But somehow it has been Mother tending the fires and grumbling away, while I am off doing God knows what while freezing my ballocks off
trying to deal with this vicious weather and customers and animals and.......UGH! I need a break!:tired:

            Jim.

John, As Ron suggested, all three going for the chickens, but falling over each other as the chickens make a break for it!
Not sure where your toolbox is, you might find it if you tidy your bench.......:anguished:

Heresy, tidy my bench , never . A large scale investigation has taken place , places where I might have put it have been checked Graeme . Glad I took your suggestion up on the chasing the chickens , still trying to work out 570's method .
