This morning I glass varnished the sets, now normally I would use mat, but as the finish is going to be in bad weather thought this may give the "wet " look .
Those seperate colours don't come out as well in the photo unfortunately. Better check the settings.
Coming along nicely John, seeing the building & the wespe in place on the base shows it all off really well. The wet look to the cobbles is an interesting idea, how often do we see dioramas with a 'rained on' look?

Cheer Graeme. Not many thinking about it , only did it to bring some life to the sets seeing that it would be wet anyway . Normally I'd use mat .
Thanks for looking in .
Just to prove I am still modelling and feeling a lot better chest wise .Today I went into the cave and produced this lot.
A down pipe, yes exciting to some, especially me.
Having drilled holes into the back face , a paper clip was cut down. These were then CA'd into the holes. Pewter cut and wrapped around to do the bracket.
Also been doing the tiles on the roof, long job as to allow the pva to dry I can only do 1 row at the time, tried 2 and it's too messy.
