Good to see you Joe. I've found those that are slightly bent are the worse to fit . Too much press to straighten them out and they break .As I'm mad anyway they don't have any effect on me

Tracks done and blackened, a few marks from too much CA have shown through, at least they are on the inside of the tracks.
Started to spray the primer this morning , my bottle of red oxide is now in the bin !
Found a long thin piece of paint debris in the bottle , so have changed to a AK 3rd gen one. Seems ok, have left it to dry having ordered a proper AK 3rd Gen German WW yellow set with camo .
      Now doing figures .

Greetings all, having just returned form my neighbors visit to let the Gas man in I thought I do a update..

Tracks done , now treated and weathered. Not building up the kit as some of it when assembled would be a nightmare to paint with the AB.

I've built a load of figures which should suit the dio better then the two in the kit.
Next a trip to the attic to obtain some suitable foam board. Paint has arrived from John's Shop

It's moving along well J.R.......open top models are always a bit more challenging, so many little pieces/parts to do up and get in place.
It looks like you are having fun with this one, keep it coming Sir. :thumb2:

My thoughts exactly Rick, having fun is the, or should be the reason why we spend so much time playing with these.

As always searching for was to improve my Dio building I've taken the plunge after first declining the idea of having a hot wire styrofoam cutter .I've just ordered one , and some sheets of grey foam . I've always loved Kappa Line foam board, but will continue to use it along with the grey foam . Looking FWD to trying it out .

Evening John. Apologies for VERY behind. That's come on a long way despite the gun troubles. Well done for preserving.
