Crickey! You’ve been a busy boy painting that little lot :surprised:

Splendid job and I see you’ve even got markings down on their helmets….impressive!

Yes even managed those very small decals Si. Used a piece of plastic card. Placed the decals on and them a couple of drops of water from a pipette . That way they just came loose , picked them up with the tip of a small brush and put them in place .

Meant to mention the tracks, for me a length like that is great. However they do NOT like paint , well Acrylic anyway . I sprayed them with a track AK 3d gen primer, it all came off , sticking to the road wheels . Some thing to think about for anyone with this kit .

Just your luck John! You get a kit without individual tracks and now the paint won’t stick :tired:.

Well if the paint won’t stick, Bring on the mud!!

Started the best part ( for me ) .
Starring with the XPS form sheet , cut to size after marking in with tape free hand on the hot wire cutter , then to gain depth added a slightly thinner section.
Cutting up a 50 mm thick piece roughly in half gave enough material to make the front for a building and the raised area .

When gluing I use a piece of grease proof paper to protect a clean cutting mat.Usung Deluxe white quick drying glue held down and together with steel bars .

Although recommended to use the white glue I'm not convinced as the section above was still unstable 3 hrs later. Is a 5 minute glue on timber and paper ,but not on the XPS.
Leaving the rest to dry I cut a piece of Kapa foam board for the stone sets.

Well worth the cutter and rail for a perfect 90deg cut.
This is now stripped of one face of the backing paper ready to imprint stone sets .
The cut out section on the bottom right hand front will be a large creater, this will be deep enough for some of the Germany ambushers to hide in .The others will be in battle damage opening in the building behind the M10 .

Thanks for looking in, comments are welcome .
