Sitting in the front on the Towers waiting for deliveries. Don't want the delivery guys hanging around in this rain , or leaving the dreaded card . We still have the "get to the door in 5 seconds " or they have gone .
        Have already received

Yup - raining here too but there are lots around far worse off.
That VMS Smart Mud is funny stuff. I rather like it - I think! Interesting to see how you get on with it.

Yes Paul, a premixed terrain paste. It's weird stuff to spread but once you get going it's fine. Shapes nicely and stays "active" for quite a while allowing one to impress a model and track marks etc. easily.

Bit like chocolate whip... leave the tracks in for about 48 hours and then remove them carefully. Used it for the vehicle tracks on the Centurion AVLB...

Paul, no need to say anything thanks Andy and Wibble.:thumb2:
Looking forward to using it, I like the VMS products I've had and use so far so suspect this will be no different. Want it to use with garden soil and sand .

Had just treated this side in metal primer.
When dry by tomorrow I'll do the under side .
                        John .

Those foil trays Si, get them on line .
Remove all folded sections , then make sure they are as flat as possible. Using two wooden blocks with corrugated plastic sheets glued to them lay the foil on the bottom one and push the other down and use the matching profile to produce the sheet . Once done a coat of metal primer to both faces then paint and weather accordingly.HTH .

Now you’re saying it I remember seeing you do them before ….. Works very nicely, I wonder if I could scale it down to 1/72 convincingly
