Heavens above , nearly a full house. :surprised:
Good to see so many here .
Been finishing the German figures, you might have noticed that I've built them all with their kit . In the past I've tried doing weapons and kit separately. The trouble came when attempting to fit to a painted surface . Just found it awkward, the paint got damaged and it needed so much after care . This way at least the kit is well fixed , no doubt the painting when it comes to the kit will need care .
In the spares box I found some Panzer faust, what better for the ambush . Changed weapons on two of the figures and gave them the Panser faust . Any one know how spare explosive heads were boxed, or was the stick part just discarded after firing ?
Would be grateful for any help on that .
John .
Panzer Faust, normally came in either single boxed or four to a box fully assembled ready to use. (google panzer faust and click on 'images')
Hope this helpsComment

This afternoon was the first time using MR Hobby aqueous primer, what a difference as well. I can see now why Dave recommended it. After a thorough cleaning with the Mr Hobby strong stuff, bowl and head only I mixed up some paint and thinners. Using AK real colour thinners as had this for some AK real colour 4BO.
Will spray the figures from the top tomorrow with the white Mr Hobby primer.
Really please with this primer, think the rest will just sit .

Should have tried the Bazooka, bloody scary - a lump of pipe with a bomb in it next to your head, nearly filled me pants when my mate slapped me on the head.Comment

Having been on 1/1 paint duties this has been on the back burner. However this afternoon I started on the painting , using AK 3 rd gen modulation set . Once I'd got the mix right I was away.
Going to need some additional paint, think the next paint of shadow will do for these where the paint is missing !
Pleased with the look, can't say if its because of the primer used but it looks really flat.
Not too bothered by the thinness of the paint here as the shadow coat will cover it .
Might give this another very thin coat, the first coat was far to thin. M50 FELL OFF , that's now waiting for its own colour.
Thanks for looking in, comments and abuse welcome.
