Look JR, not a flame or singed bit anywhere - see what therapy can do for you.
Such a shame Wibble. Therapy was no help at all , some one set the building on fire !

Surely it's not Idu and the boys who are squatting?

Those buildings are looking excellent Sir Ron.
As for the book.... Go for it. with your skill set and sense of humor it will sell well.
The building you produce Ron are as good as any I have seen sold and on a par with the works of "night shifts" Martin. Who spends a fortune on materials/paints for them!

Thanks for the great comments boys. :thumb2:

The squatters will remain a secret, cos' I don't know for certain who they will be either!

Roof started. I use thin cardboard to start with.....

The gap on the right is for damaged sections.

                  Cheers.

I've started to roof the roof....

Paper 'slates' and a bit of gash coloured card for the ridge tiles. The valley is made of paper strips.

As I wrote earlier, I'm not fussed about nice straight, evenly spaced slate courses. I want a rough and ready rustic look.

I'll straighten out the lower bent course at the end of the job.

                              Nice 570.
Not seen a slate roof as good as that. You normally see various slipped slates.

Thanks 453, but there might well be a bit more than a few slipped slates by the time I've finished with the b***er!
