Thanks Paul, think I need to give those dried plants a touch of green and esp those very light green tuffs.

Hi Lee. A few seed trays sitting in the sun today as its sunny !!!!
Yes the bird comes as soon as I call him, suddenly lands on the fence. Gives a loud clucking then comes down to eat. After feeding him self takes a beak full of dried meal worms (I soak them in water ) to feed his brood.Does this about 4 times then goes off looking for live food !

Had a good afternoon yesterday and managed this.

More work needed on the figures, don't require the full amount this time .Think need to bed those tracks in with some mud being pushed out when the final fixing takes place.
Now seeing what "crap in the back " suits as that flat deck plate is crying out for some .

            Morning John,

Good to read that life is returning to some normality and your back at the bench :smiling4:

Absolutely loving that ground work the mud looks very convincing as does the greenery :thumb2:

That is looking great John. The vegetation already looks good
So nice to see your blackbird. It only takes a little patience and food to get wildlife to trust humans. When I was a child my mum had a blackbird who would actually come inside the back door for food.

That is looking good and getting the weathering on and toning down the glow from the paint will make it look even better. Hope you will get it ready for the Open Class at the Nationals.
Question - most of us with an eye patch have a parrot, what's with the blackbird..... :tongue-out3:

                    Hi John

Very sad to say I completely missed this given the lack of forum time this year.

It is coming on very nicely indeed. Great work as always.

Also pleased to hear that the bungalow is nearly sorted.

Yes Jim, they soon get to know people. He now comes into the top end of the cave and has his bowl . Build stalled this week due to the fine weather, garden duties called.:smiling2:

Managed to do the veneer sides earlier this week. This afternoon did get a bit done to the figures and made up a log holder , have no idea if theses were made but it looks right.

                                Veneer sides.

Made up some boxes , mainly to add to the rear, and some where for the figures to sit.

The figures need some remedial attention to the paint work as they have been moved about that much.Click image for larger version

Hopefully these will look the part once painted and glued on.

                                That's it for now.
