Just seen this one Ron, cracking work so far, looks like another great build on the way.
PS Tony, watch out for the crabs.

This is such a good idea, and so far working out really well.

Is there going to be some lonely LDV-type standing guard, up to his ankles in the tide with it?

Thanks for the encouraging comments chaps.

Tony. Enjoy your paddle, but beware, the tide is coming in fast. Best if you and Helen get off the beach and get a couple of candyflossisis!

Ian. I think we should tell Tony, the crabs on this beach can jump over 3ft. in the air... :cold-sweat: Unless he already has some.......

Chris. There might be a figure or two, perhaps, maybe.......

          Thanks again boys.

          Ron

              Thanks Graeme.
A bit different, that's for sure.
Here's hoping for a satisfactory conclusion.....

              Cheers.

Reminds me of that old grafitti I saw once in a gents:

"Don't throw your matchsticks down the loo
the crabs in here can pole-vault!"

                  Update....

                  I've started on the 'water'

Using a bit of clear plastic from a food container, I've put a lid on the rockpool.

The hole in the surface is where the aircraft will slot in.

I then sprinkled some more sand around the edges of the plastic to blend things in a tad.

Still plenty to do, but the basics are down.

                  Cheers.

I've slotted the aircraft into the hole in the plastic. A dry fit....

Time to add a bit of 'Life' to the pool surface.

                        Cheers.

Wot no crabs, you tellin me you aint got crabs.....
What a spark of genius, a cheap kit, a bit of foam, a sprinkle of sand and you turn out this superb example that you do not need an expensive kit to make a superb model.
