Right having found whats what with the help of Mike I adjourned to the cave. Today some soft foam eye brushes turned up. A complete waste of money, soon fell apart when they became wet. So back to the large kitchen sponge method. Worth trying out these ideas that you see , but this time not for me.

Now came the exciting part of applying some pigments, mixed with 1/2 water and thinners. Brushed well in to the sets, the idea is to get between them . In the past I've used dry tile grout , rubbing well in, with the resulting dust.

result. Click image for larger version

Thanks Andy ,find this method is less messy than the tile grout , and to me looks better .

After you have attached the picture, if you look below the 'Attach etc' button, you will see your pic and to the right a selection of sizes - choose 'Large' You can then press the return button on your keyboard/pad and the icon goes to the start of the next line down ready for you to type or add another photo.

The sets/cobbles look spot on. The colour variation and the pigment work get 10/10.

Hi all , the other print size is far too small and thin to read for me so found this. Just wish I could keep it with out prating about every time.

Having looked at the first fronts I scrapped them all and started again.
Have now worked out a far better system for doing the cut outs , sealing the raw edges with pva . Stops all that breaking up of the foam board face.

Have a new scriber on order , Olfa , that should be here to morrow so then can start the doors.

The tape is to stop any pva from going on to the board.

Window and door frames in, doors just inset. Film done for the windows, pleased with this.

The missing gun handle has turned up , yes JIM @jim I do have the odd clean up !

Comments more than welcome. Thanks for looking in.
