    Panzerkampfwagen II Ausf. G Diorama

    Hello all,

I was inspired to do a desert diorama after a friend of mine made one with the well known Tamiya Hanomag kit.

The tank is built "out of the box", painted with Model Masters "Afrika Mustard"

The groundwork is just a block of beaded styro covered in diluted pva with a coating of sand. Some of the shrubs are made with Woodland Scenic's "Prairie Grass" and some are made of frayed binder's twine.

I put a rusted out oil drum half buried in the sand.

The little rocks you see is actually chicken feed.

I hope this explanation gives you a few techniques to use in your future builds.

    Happy modelling,

    -Christian.

Thank you all for your kind words, I'll work on getting some better pics, my camera sucks.

                  Perhaps later this afternoon.

camera phone? If so try taking it outside, nice bright daylight makes a huge difference to those things?
