                      Looking really good. I think you have made a great job of a fairly basic kit and made a very effective display out of it. It's also good to see different mediums used in a model and how the properties of each can be used to their best advantage.

                        You know when I saw the title of this thread I thought what a boring thing to build but I have to say what stunning work you have made of this and just goes to show that even something as innocuous as a cannon can be made to look so fantastic

                        Well done it's maybe one of the finest builds I've seen

                          Ian ... Was thinking of a monkey but there's a ball keg in the kit, would possibly have gone for a ''shot plank'' or whatever they were called.

                          Alan, thanks mate but its not quite finished yet, hopefully the extras will make it even better for you

                          Done the figures and am waiting for them to dry in situ, didn't turn out too bad in my opinion considering the moulding.

                          Glad people are enjoying this, its a nice break from plastic.
