Tractor unit recovery ... Korea 1950 (ish) (in 1/76)

Going to use these kits, the diorama will show the tractor unit having a problem after depositing the bofors on site and being loaded aboard the transporter

The transporter has good detail for the size, too good in places as the rivets would be about 2 ins wide at full scale

Cab went together well, not a lot of filling needed it seems

the destructions show where everything "should" go, that's after you've cut, shaped and moulded the plastic to fit them

    It'll work .... i'm liking a challenge

          Thanks for the comments chaps

Got the chassis and axles in place after a bit of choppin' and shapin', still needs a little filler around the roof.

there seems a bigger scope for detailing and weathering than i first thought.

The wheels and tyres dont seem too bad after cleaning up and the details quite ok too

It is smaller than what i normally do, and the strains showing

Got the majority of the tractor unit together, just some final parts to add, finish off the base paint and itll be time to weather it.

The front lamps visors were totally misshapen so i had to cut them off and add my own ... this is like brain surgery and i'm glad ive got my prescription modeling glasses
