Cheers Ron I'm glad you like it , this tree malarkey is time consuming and I've learnt that pva is no good for glueing foliage

Don't know if it helps Alan, but I use mixed herbs (£0.49p in Tesco) for leaves & I spray the tree/bush with basic hairspray and then sprinkle the herbs over it - works a treat!

Hopefully you can see what I mean on my Jagdpanther.

      Cheers Patrick

That's a really good look , this is what I'm up to with my first tree

One of the reasons I didn't do the mixed herbs is they are brown like autumn and my setting is summer

Nice tree, just add some some different green flashes and it should compliment your dio perfectly. Top work.

Cheers mate I will have to finish the foliage first lol

It's going to be expensive though just that bit has taken half a pack I might just do the one tree and do bushes out of the rest

that is a very nice tree Alan, starting to take shape , and like how you have use a real bit off stick,if you are finding that the PVA takes a bit to long to set,

as I did, use UHU drys quicker and dose dry clean, and can be painted over, once you find that there is all the foliage you like then use the hairstick to

add darker on the underside and lite on the top ,just sprinkle buy your fingers or use a shaker, what i did was make one from a coffee jar the big one and drill

No 30 hole very close together, to shake out the foliage

must say Patrick that the branches on your Jagdpanther. worked out very well with mixed herds great job

Thanks Moni I appreciate that also thanks for the tip I do have some course turf in a lighter colour and I was going to sprinkle that on with my fingers but the coffee jar idea sounds much better

That looks fine Alan, the camo is excellent. I wouldn't worry too much about the camo pattern - every reference I've seen shows subtle differences because vehicles came from the factory in Dunkelgelb & the crews applied the Olivgrün / Rotbraun themselves.

                              Cheers

Cheers guys I have Dave W to thank for giving me the tip of how to do the camo , I'm quite liking the look actually

Now to find out if the older panzer IV with the short barrel had a similar camo
