        Thanks Ralph. I have a lot of oils so may try this. The blending is excellent, I thought it was an airbrush finish. I’ve used oils for dry brushing before on armour builds. The fine pigment means they work well don’t they.

          I love using oils and have been using them for 25 years on figures.

            I used to use them a lot, but got fed up with the drying times. Might be the time to get them out again for figures. I also use artist acrylics sometimes, if I want a really intense colour or a flame effect, for example....

              Wow Ralph,

              I can't pronounce the name, let alone trying to write it here...I'll just call them monster types if that's ok. This is a stunning piece of work Sir. Like Tim said, the coloring of the little monsters is fantastic!!! The big monster and the rider are also very well done. Great job and thanks for sharing your first post with us!!!

                      I am used to fantasy Warhammer back in the 80s but I've not looked at it since then. I have to say these new pieces do look amazing. And you have done a really fantastic job on this one.
