Glad you like them. I am also glad the sculptor never went with the Peter Jackson “Hyenas as mounts“ impression. Funnily enough, these wolf sculpts have been panned on other forums as not shaggy enough, but I think they are pretty much spot on, apart from a slight impression of fatness….
The Oathmark and Frostgrave 28mm plastics are very good value..

I do indeed. And definitely agree about the hyena look from the films. Not my favourite part. They really have turned out very well.

It's funny people complaining about them not looking shaggy enough.....

Let's disect that for a moment.....

..... They're complaining about a fictional situation....a wolf (weren't they actually called wargs?) that has been bred to be ridden by large fictional characters and so were bigger than 'normal' wolves....in a fantasy world that has magic and the like....that has and will never exist....

Of course I'm willing to be wrong!

Its to do with this picture……

which is the box art of the upcoming dwarf light infantry…..
To me, that guy on the rock is calling out the war cry of the dwarves….goes back to time immemorial and is fixed in their genes…
