    Latest 32mm figures

These have all been approaching completion together, so I'll post them here together. This is the final batch (perhaps not the final, final batch) of 32mm figures from tabletop miniatures game A Song of Ice and Fire, by CMON.

They comprise the giant Mag Mar Tun Doh Weg; The Weeper, with his scythe; bushy eyebrowed Jarl; and a couple of scarred Raid Leaders.

    Now for something completely different...

Very intricate painting Paul and very nice. They're on their individual bases so I'm guessing no dios for these. If they're for wargaming, how do you keep them from paint wear off?

      Cheers,
      Richard

Thanks Tim. FWIW, I think you're right about the giant!

Thanks Richard, they are indeed for wargaming. They've had several coats of matt varnish, which should see them good for the rough and tumble of wargaming. The metallics get a last going over after the varnish, as it dulls them seriously. By contrast, inks and washes tend to have a semi-gloss finish, so matt varnishing them makes a massive difference to the look of the completed figures.

Personally I gloss varnish followed by matt varnish Richard. Gloss varnish is much more resistant to handling, and if they go shiny through handling it’s not a big job to re matt them….I find matt varnish more reliable over gloss varnish as well.

Quite simply.....WOW.... That Vallejo bottle really gives an idea of how small they are.

                Very well done.
