    1/5th Shea Brennan

Scale collectable 1/5th 3D printed bust of Sam Elliotts character Shea Brennan in the Paramount TV show ‘1883’, all painted in oils , except for the jacket and scarf, they were painted with Scale75 artist acrylics . I have seen a lot of these painted with very distinct contrasts , I have gone the other way with soft flesh tones

Excellent flesh tones. Looks just like Sam Elliot so what’s not to like. Better without the hat though, that doesn’t seem to quite fit him….

It certainly does look just like him and your excellent work has made him even better Steve. Really fine work with the oils and acrylics Sir!!! He does look better, like Tim said, without the hat though...

            Prost

I agree, also with the hat on you loose all that superbly cast hair.

That's lovely, Steve. I love the fabric textures and the subtle colouring of the hair.

The hat was never going to work, though was it? Not sure why the makers included it like that, as it's oversized to go over his hair. The only way to make it work would be the trim down his hair for a neat fit - but then the provided hat would be way too big! Beats me what they were thinking.
