    Hi all,
    I thought I’d make a start on this bust by Life Miniatures as it’s been in the stash for a while... I’ve always been put off by the rather neat beard on the box art so I decided to rough it up a little with the craft knife. I’ve also opted for a lighter hair colour and it works better in real life than on the pictures. It’s quite basic but where there are details such as the details on the cap , they are really well done.
    So here we are so far...

                Thanks all...really is very much appreciated and encouraging!
                Added a few oil stains and so head and hat now done ... onto the shirt and jacket next!

                      Hi all,
                      Making some progress on this but the shirt has held me back.... this is the third version... did a red one that didn’t work then a blue one... both of which didn’t give enough contrast between the squares... This third version still needs some tidying up but here’s where I am now,
