    Large and Small Scale Figures

Here is some of my work over the past many moons going back to the 70's up to the present. They're not in order, but looking closely you can see the progression over time. Very rarely do I do single figures, so most of these would be considered vignettes, but they're all about figures either way

And did I mention I'm an oiler? The blending properties are unsurpassed, imho. I'm not a fan of constant layering, so you won't ever find me attempting to paint a figure only with acrylics. I mainly will use acrylics as a base tone, not much more.

Last Stand, 120mm Vignette, Normandy France 1944
The charging figure with the MG-42 is the 120mm ”Volksgrenadier WWII”, sculpted by Trevor Hensley from SNT Productions (#ST16001).

        Very impressive Ski.
Strength isn't about what you can do, rather it's about overcoming what you thought you couldn't do.

Those are beautiful. One small question though. Did you change the weapon on the BAR gunner? I only ask 'cos it sure looks like he's carrying a Thompson.

Some beautiful figures there Steven. As you are new and still learning the forum, We would like to point out that the norm is build subject per thread. I know there are a few with multiple subjects but as a rule one thread; one subject.

Thank you, Gentlemen, I appreciate the kind words. And yes, that is a Tommy Gun as the BAR would not work for the dio intended. I added a Havre sack for the Tommy mags. This will be much clearer when I post the "Easy Pickins" build.

P.S. Roger that, Ian, duly noted
