Yes John his eyes are closed but that's the way it came out the box which was lucky on my part I was going to do a comrade behind him with his fingers in his ears maybe later I also like the idea from Ian about adding the tash I just wanted something hanging around my bench/desk to make me laugh/smile thanks for you comments everyone making me smile now looking at him
