B-17 PILOT

Verlinden 120 mm B-17 Pilot . My first completed figure. Done as an actual pilot from WW II . Many extra's , over 20 parts added to the 'chute alone! I enter all my work in IPMS contests ,this guy has done well , taking second in two contests. I know where the problem lies, I choose to leave the face the way it is in order to show a progression in my work.

One foot on the apron , he looks with some trepidation at his bomber.

WOW! That Pilot looks great,really sharp detailing. The eyes look great too ,I've always had trouble with that area. Stunning looking figure 5 stars,very nicely done Sir!!!

Custom decals can be seen on the 'chute and life vest. Squadron patches were also made .

As well as the 40-50 applications of clear drops to the goggles!
