Completed Tamiya 48 scale German Infantry on Maneuvers

Bought them back in April. Took me this long to finish.

I learned a new trick with them too, namely hold them up to a light bulb and blow on the glued spots to help speed the drying time. I wore my sunglasses as a pseudo welder's mask while doing so because staring at a light bulb hurts.

    Anyways, for your viewing pleasure...

I took the liberty of building them a cheap stage, just to set some of the "mood".

      Thanks Joe!

I found I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. I still have 12 more troops left to do...(but at least their patio furniture is ready).

Nice idea Steve, like that. I once, many years ago used my Mum's hair-dryer on some plastic figures and promptly melted them into the carpet...she was not pleased lol.

I'll probably use the hair dryer to fix the warp nacelles on the Enterprise-A (they did not survive as many moves as my titanic model did).

The lightbulb idea came to me while thinking about the old child's toy "easy bake oven". And I thought, well, if a light bulb can bake a small cupcake, then surely it should be hot enough to cure some dabs glue on tiny models...
