    The Desert Fox complete

    Hi all,

    Rommel is now complete, high and low lighted all round, binoculars straps are from plastic strips.

      A lot of intricate painting there. An asset to any dio.

        Hi Lee. Your colours for blocking in are very neat and you have bought out some great detail. If you don't mind me saying it needs a lot more shading, especially on the face. Its a good base colour but needs more colour and shading to give it definition.

        The jacket and trousers need more shading especially the darker areas which would make the details pop.

        The binoculars need some dry brushing to give them a used look.

        Sorry to pick it apart, as I said your painting is very neat with some fine detail and if you shaded it a bit more it would be an excellent figure.

                Paul, I appreciate your comments, and your "picking" :P , in my defence, the lighting is pants which in turn has made it lose a lot of detail, when I get 5 I'll take another couple of pics, thanks mate.

                            lee thats perfect. personally , i think it doesnt need shading. the first thing that struck me was realism. sometimes people shade that much that it ends up looking statue like.
