Mate, Hussars were so flamboyant in that period that nobody but you will really notice…..Napoleonic wars uniforms in general are far more colourful and complex than any fantasy figure you can think of….I think every French regiment of Hussars had a different coloured coat, Dolman, and trousers than the next, for example…..it is a world well worth exploring

Ha ha! I have a number of older brothers who are very keen that I paint some more Napoleonics, but I'm not that motivated, tbh - this caught my eye because it was such a superb, large flat. I already have some more fantasy stuff in the pipeline.

That's lovely work. The horses look immaculate, which are a very tricky subject to paint indeed. Full marks Paul.

Paul, fantastic work, i really enjoy seeing Flats being painted. So rarely see them around ( although i suppose there are dedicated sites with suppliers information ). Horses look superb especially like the Grey ( personal choice, Chestnut is also brilliant ). Those Napoleonic Hussars certainly went in for flamboyant uniforms and you Sir have created an excellent representation in your Artwork. top work :thumb2:.
