    Perry 40mm Light Dragoons

Hi all. My deepest apologies, I rather lost my mojo and then got sidetracked by winding up Septics on Quora, (a deeply satisfying pursuit as I'm sure you'll all agree). I've also taken up medal-mounting as a sideline and as a result haven't posted anything on here for months. Probably more than a year actually, so I reckoned it was high time I cleared away the ribbons and thread and dusted off my paintbrushes.

Just finished this - a pair of 12th Light Dragoons in the Peninsular. 40mm white metal figures from Perry Miniatures. Painted almost entirely in acrylics, mostly Vallejo.

Those are excellent. A fine return to the hobby. Figures of this period are so colourful.

Got to love a good napoleonic figure. Excellent to see you posting again as well.

They're lovely - great, saturated colour.

Thanks chaps! I'm a great fan of the Perry brothers' stuff. They're great fun to paint - decent sculpts with plenty of detail and natural poses. Big enough that you can actually see the detail, and small enough that you can easily hide a multitude of sins! :smiling5:
