Greg's 1/16 British Police Officer (Dave's Emergency Services GB)

    Hello all,

Here's my completed entry to the Emergency Services build - ICM's 1/16 British Police Officer (or specifically a Met AFO). It's my first attempt at a figure, and it was interesting to try something that doesn't have tracks and a cannon for a change! There's a long way to go before it's on par with the tutorials (my paint selection was limited to a single skin tone unfortunately), but I don't think it's too shabby for a first go. Who knows, maybe I'll try more figures in the future.

That’s fantastic, especially for a first attempt. Skin tone in particular is excellent.

              Lovely Model!
I do hope that our non-UK forum members don't think that this British WPC is representative of the police here. I have only seen armed police in high security/risk areas like airports, government buildings etc, and then only in the major cities. A lot do carry Tazers ( at least in Gloucestershire ) & a collapsible baton, but that's it.
              Dave

Great job, especially for a first try. And nice and neat, too - no hiding place when you're painting black and white like that!

Too shabby! That is not shabby in the least. In fact it's a cracking effort especially for a first figure.

Impressive by any standard but for a first attempt at figure painting Wow!
