Quite fun to do, though a bit fiddly at times. 28mm white metal figures, painted in Vallejo acrylics. Calibration shot in the build blog if you wonder how big they are. Hope they pass muster :thumb2:

They certainly pass muster. As always, when I look at your work, I am in awe of your abilities in painting these tiny figures. I've read your post in Steve's Time or Talent thread and this work reflects your post there.
One little question. As they are a group, a vignette, why are they on separate bases?

They look fantastic Tim, and such a small scale too.

Um, 20s or 28s? Just that you've got the former in the build thread (which I assume is correct them being SHQ) and the latter here?

Still admiring the Denisons and overall splendid result either way

Thanks Jim. To answer your question they are not really a vignette, they are a gaming piece. The rules I play list a medium mg team as consisting of four men and a junior leader. The leader is Mr pointy guy. He‘s separate so he can be removed as a casualty (which impacts morale and efficiency). The other two are separate so they can be removed to track crew casualties. The remaining two are based with the weapon because if the crew goes down to one man, with or without the leader, the gun is deemed U/S and the remaining guy is replaced with one of the rifleman casualties.

Well spotted Steve. They are 20mm, so I will ask the mods to correct the headline…..done too many 28s recently so got the header wrong. Glad you like them though :thumb2:

Great work Tim. Those paras look great. Will these be used for gaming or simply for display?
