    gluing these 1 72 poly-watever the stuff is figures

    Hi guys just got box of orion soviet figs to go with a soviet armoured train dio i am building and am trying to alter some of the figs !!!!!tried super glue but no good any ideas ?.

    I not too sure what to use. Would something like epoxy resin work? It would probably be a bit fiddley with the size but might be worth a go.

      that is a hard one, I did try super glue on some airfix one once ad same as you not a good idea,

      when i do 1.35, iI pin them with wire then just use putty ,

        Done any PVC pipework at home of late?

          Tried that Ian, the trouble is both Polypropylene and polyethylene are very resistant to any sort of solvent type glue. I used to use the solvent glue for making plastic/pvc pipe work joints and thought I would try it on 1/72 figures with no success. The figures are usually soft plastic whereas the pipe is hard.

          I believe Loctite make a two part product - primer and glue - which is suitable for those poly type plastics.
