    Thanks Jakko, didn't realize that there was a video of it out there! Probably should have thought, as there seems to be one of anything you can think of!
    Mind you, wasn't so much assembling it, it's the adjustments to make it fit properly and comfortably :tongue-out3:
    Water bottles are good on a hot day, soak the felt, and it keeps the water cooler, though they're a lot heavier than they look!

      I was actually looking for a photo of the inner face of the pouch to illustrate your description of how they attach to the belt and the shoulder strap, but came across this instead

      I’ve got some US Army ALICE canteen carriers that have what US troops call “fish fur” (polyester pile) on the inside. I’ve not tried wetting that, but it does work fairly well to keep aluminium drinks cans cool in hot weather And, oddly enough, an Israeli once told me their canteen carriers didn’t have that when she was a conscript — you would kind of expect them to have the climate where you’d want this sort of stuff.
