well got down all my base coats,so waiting to dry along with the base,

had some think strange happen, with the paint,in piic No4 you can see ,not so much of

a problem,as i still need to brush in the rest,

but no cue as i did wash it down with hot soapy water and let air dry for a few day,s

added in the braces as you said Tony and i real hope there right lol,

just need to get some type of brass or steel, mushroom nail things,

would help if i know what there called lol

well was thinking what is missing from my door, some hardware

so got some copper nail, which i think are about right size,

and who ever said a modeler dose not need a hammer well we do lol,

so flattened some out to make braces for the door,

got some type of brass thing to use a some type of handle,

have the nail,s soaking in for coke hoping this will make them go green, ?

and also for the brass, plated thing

or if anyone dose know of away to make them turn green without painting them, would be of great help,

                  and very appreciated

Well I think the braces look great as they are now, and they will go green after a while.

No idea about the coke treatment but i know if copper is heated it changes the molecular structure a little and turns a darker shade and turns green faster.

                    Cheers Richi

oh so i will put them over the gas burner and heat them up untill they start to change color

and then put them back in the coke to see if any think happen, or i should of drunk the class of coke lol,

                        well hears todays update,

and i must say that old Erving almost won the day ,I just could not get my dry brushing down, and after a couple of

go,got him to some what ,i don,t mind how he look,s,but even with a couple of mat coats still looks to shiny to me,

so gave him a coat or two of pastel to dull him down,

and tomorrow ,will just give him a dust down with a mix of gray and black, just to pick up a few high lights,

so got the grout down on the base, waited a few hr,s before washing off, them start to do the detailing on the wall and floor, just using diffidence,

                        washer,of grays,greens brown,s and even white,

to speed thing up used a hair dryer ,and once i was happy with that added in some moss,on the floor, wall and bottom 1/4 of the door,

so hope you like it so far,

                        comments always welcome,
