    Wun Wun the giant

Starting on this. I love this technique - a zenithal prime followed by tinting with diluted inks. Although it mainly gets painted over, it's a lovely start to the process, giving a good idea of how to proceed. The inks can be quickly blended to give a variation in fabric colours, and it does impact on the final effect, showing through the translucent paints on top. It also ensures no pale bits showing through at the end!

You certainly get used to painting bones on these lads don’t you Paul :thumb2: I must admit that for some of those old fabrics I would be tempted to just use the inks with a bit of definition around the edges if they looked that good….

Sorry Mick, I missed this. He's 65mm from the soles of his feet to his eyeballs.

Thanks Andy! I'm happy with how it's developing, too. Should be in the completed figures before too long.

Thanks John. I'm sure it could work on the folded material of soft skins and the like. Duxnno about flat panels though. Not my métier, of course.
