    1/5th Breaking Bad - Gustavo Fring - Boooommmm !

    Gustavo Fring

    From Wikipedia;

    Gustavo "Gus" Fring is a fictional character portrayed by Giancarlo Esposito in the Breaking Bad franchise, serving as the main antagonist of the crime drama series Breaking Bad and a major character in its prequel Better Call Saul. He is a Chilean-American businessman and major narcotics distributor in the Southwestern United States who uses several legitimate businesses, including a chain of successful fast food restaurants called Los Pollos Hermanos (The Chicken Brothers) and an industrial laundry facility called Lavandería Brillante (Bright Laundry), as fronts used to launder money for a vast drug operation. Though outwardly he works with the Mexican cartel to distribute cocaine, he secretly plots revenge against its members over the death of his business associate and romantic partner Maximino "Max" Arciniega at the hands of Hector Salamanca, the patriarch of the cartel-backed drug trade in the Southwest. To become independent of the cartel's cocaine, he constructs a secret lab under an industrial laundry to manufacture methamphetamine.

    This 1/5th Bust is produced by Scale Collectibles and sculpted by the brilliant Sid Naique.

    The bust comes printed in SC usual mid grey resin, in this case its in two parts, what remains of Gus's Head and his mangled Torso. The head simply drops onto the body, with no filler needed at all.

    I have never seen the programme but the figure looks a devil to paint successfully. I have no doubt that you will pull it off though.

          I have never seen or even heard of the program. The sculpt looks very well done but even unpainted looks horrific. As John said it looks very difficult to paint but no doubt you'll do a fine job.

            A fabulous actor, he really bought that sense of menace to breaking bad...

            Incidentally he went on to play Moff Gideon in the recent Star Wars based show 'The Mandalorian', which he totally smashed...

                    Started work on him

                    Just base colours applied with acrylics, next to start on his 'good' side with the oils;

                        Got some oils on his good side. Off into the dryer overnight, then I can add some more highlights to his skin tone.

                              Thanks,
                              Needs more highlights adding in to lighten the some of the darker skin tones.
