XT-45 Soviet Infantry Mech (didnt know really where to put this one)

This was a Christmas present one of thoes you source it and pay for it give it to them (partner and daughter)they wrap and give back ,still beats soap on a rope and socks. Apart from gluing one of the feet on back to front no probs resin kit all casting blocks we're removed so only a little bit of cleaning to do. Squirted some green at it this morning will leave now till tomorrow then I'll give it a couple of filter coats and toss a coin to see if I bother with a varnish coat before going to work with it.Click image for larger version

Got a couple of very thinned down filter coats on it ,always good it ties in and calms the paint job down

I like that David. Not my genre but certainly a credit to your modelling skills.

I'm with Jim. It's not something I would ever do myself but wise enough to recognise some good skills in getting it to look the way it does. The scratches and chipping look really good to me.

Looks like a clockwork Ned Kelly Dave Great finish though, chipping is spot on.
