Heehee, my little fella thinks it's awesome too, I suspect I'll be losing this one to him once completed, I may have to get another, maybe the new pose MkIII suit

The grey on the armour still feels a little soft so I'll leave it longer, but the base feels ready for further paint.

I made the Moebius one a while back, the seams were a biatch to get right!

        Here's mine for some inspiration.

Heres a few shots of the Dragon kit, sadly I've noticed the hands are actually a soft rubber and so would be hard to light up and still look good,

Looks like a decent parts count compared to the moebius kit, be interesting to see that go together, are you building that anytime soon?

Nice clean build there oily, did you use the alclad paints?

              Update, (wee one)

Base salted and base coat of humbrol polished stainless metalcote on the base and the figure.

              Before polishing

After a quick buffing with a cloth.

Thanks Polux, I am, (currently), still going with the trad red / gold combo but am trying this base for the clear red, if you look at the movies, the MkIII is a darker shade of red than the MkIV onwards.

To achieve this, after some rudimentary experiments it seems a darker metallic base is needed than with gold or silver, so fingers crossed that'll do the trick, I may even leave the face plate, I quite like the look at the mo.

Mmmmm....sorry but have to say I don't see any film...! A lot of images and trailers only

                      But understand what you say!

Good luck mate! Go for it!!

You haven't seen the movies! Tut tut, shame on you!

They are great incidentally, I recommend them highly.

If you compare this pic you'll see in order mk's 1 to 4 l to r, this shows the red colour difference i refer

I'd quite fancy doing a war machine in miltary camo, I think that would look pretty good.

Am eager to see the build of that though so bring it on.

Maybe a superhero themed SIG build or GB?

                              Update

Top coat of red, (tell you what, throw a little hotrod red in there), like the colour!

The bits still in stainless will be painted next then the repulsers and detail to do.
