Going Underground: BMP 2 In Aleppo - the figures

    Hello Guys
This will be the place where i will be posting details om the Figures of the current dio I am working on
Working title will b e "This Area is Cleared, Right?"
It depicts the Syrian Civil War and shows two Regime BMP crew members discussing map details, oblivious to the fact that they are being watched -rebs are peering from behind a wall and a cut away section of the diorama will show further rebs amassing in tunnels below.

Old photo just to show the general Idea - the BMP will be facing the other - way rebs will be using the cover of destroyed wall to observe the crew

The two crew members are from Miniart with some conversions - the map will be spread out onto the drivers hatch

the one squatting has his back to the destroyed wall and blocks his mate´s view
I will dig up some better pictures of the whole scenery as well as some of the other cast of Characters

I am quite far in the construction of the adjacent Ruined building - the dio has been long time coming - 4 years and counting and has undergone numerous changes and you are very welcome to follow its Development here:
So, guys with the first of two Syrian civil war dios wrapping up time for the next As you might know originally planned as a one piece the dio had to be split up and one developed into "a ZU-23 Technical...." The second will be following the story line from the original which can be found Here ('https://www.scale

    Thanks for Watching
    Steven

It would be better for you and all following if the build of this spectacular diorama was all kept in one place. Having bits here and there, throughout the forum is not going to help make your Diorame thread any easier to follow.

Point taken that being said, the overall format of thev forum invites IMHO a topical separation
I will however take you recommendations to heart
