Some random German figures 1:35 scale.

Whilst I continue to procrastinate over what my next build will be....
Thought I would throw together a few little (1:35) figures, I have some German WW2 and some US military.
I may well use them in a diorama of some sort, not decided yet, we'll see.
Made a start on a couple of the German ones.

Spotter with bins and a prone machine gunner.
put them together. I usually paint bits on the sprue, but decided to assemble these first then paint.

These are Tamiya and quite detailed.
Then primed them. Did a bit of filling where one arm met the shoulder, but most fitted ok.

First colour coat on and started some detailing, bit rough and ready so far, will need another coat and tidying up.

Good start. Figures are hard to paint in my opinion.

Yeah, can be very fiddly. When I did my British Paratrooper (1;16) the face was a nightmare, redid it three times and still did not get it right!
With this scale I'm not even gonna bother trying to do eyes, etc, it'll just be a pink (ish) boat race and thats it, job done. 8-)

Wonderful Peter.I used to love doing my Tamiya figures in my teens.Spent many hours trying to make them look half decent.

Some more slightly finer detail done. Quite enjoying these actually.
Tidied up the paint a bit, , think these two are now pretty much done.
Still gotta do the helmet/chin straps, but apart from that, (and some light knocking back/weathering) thats it.
I think I'm gonna do another couple of figures out of this set, I think there are six or eight figures in the kit overall.
As these are smaller, I don't feel that they need the same level of detail as the larger figures, but just "enough" IYSWIM?
            Pics....
