Only small update for today, gave the water a gloss coat this morning, let it dry for few hours, then applied a PVA wash over the top, to hopefully give it some "depth"? we'll see if that works when its dry and gone clear. Its still in the "milky" phase...
Also gave the sand/beach a little touch up with buff paint to "smooth out" the colours to that area....

Have to say its a bit scary covering all the water with all that PVA and it looking like that, eg: milky not clear, but.... have watched lots of YT clips and they do all go clear eventually, (hopefully) so just gotta have faith in the process..... 8-)

Hats off to you Peter, I wouldn't know where to start with modeling water.

Ok, I'm calling this one done.... 8-)

Will put more pics up on the "Completed" section, but here's some pics for you.
Considering it was my first attempt at water, I am quite pleased with the result.
By no means perfect, but generally happy with it, and I have to say that the toilet paper and PVA method is relatively easy IMHO.

Could not resist adding the little dog, it just seemed to be a perfect fit for the two SBS lads to come across this little pup as they are covertly coming ashore....

          Cheers
