That's the way to do it Paul. French fires are nothing like British chips though, which are thicker and soggier.

So the good news is that Telly Savalas / Big Joe has arrived:



The bad news is that it's a lousy casting, damn it. Hopefully it will clean up OK.

Thanks Richard. This one went under the radar for a while.

Jim - He cleaned up OK, thankfully. After a bit of sanding and scalpel work I Just had to repair the dog tag chain with scrap resin. He's ready for paint:

Glad he cleaned up OK, I think I would have returned him.....
Looking forward to paint now....hope he’s not too stressful though, some bits still look a little rough.
