            Amazing the difference putting the decals on the IP can make;

            Each dial had a drop of white glue dropped on to give it a glass finish, mind i may add a drop of Vallejo water to give some depth to the glass on each bezel, will try one first and see a) if it works and b) makes a difference.

              Been Honest i wasn't looking forward to the decals as even from the top model companies sometimes they break up, curl over, don't sit very well, so when i saw it was RP's first go at them i thought i was in for a long time. How wrong was I, they went on like a dream and just over 1 1/2hrs later all done.

                  Hi Steve
                  Looks great. 1 1/2 hours well spent I'd say.

                    Just got in and had a read through Steve. Looks like a well sculpted combo. No worries, we'll know what you've done to the seat. Decal work looks neat.

                    Cheers,
                    Richard

                      So tried a drop of Vallejo water on a small dial, looked okay. So did the same in the big dials, and now gone white, just hoping it needs to dry out . Fingers crossed

                        Well they haven’t cleared so had to remove the Vallejo water (VW) which worked on 95% of the decals the other ones have unfortunate also come off with the VW so are destroyed. Quick message to Hugo at RP models and a new set of decals will be winging their way to me from Portugal seem and even better feee of charge. Now that’s what you call customer service.

                          Steve - All looking very good. Shame about the Vallejo Water ruining the decals though. However, it sounds like RP have come to your rescue - they strike me as a great company who take pride in what they do. Their Anders Lassen bust is probably the best I've ever worked on.

                              Hi Steve
                              Shame about the decals but good to hear of the excellent customer service from RP Models. I have used Microscale Micro Krystal Klear in the past for instrument glasses.
