I didn’t see much wrong with the original...I thought you’d captured the look rather well...but I know once you get that nagging feeling there’s only one solution!
Still, the new one looks excellent!

Steve - I hope you're enjoying the rest at work! As for this, well, you know me and heads - It's a bit of a crummy bust all round, so needs a bit of help. Bright and sunny here despite the forecast, but the British summer should arrive tomorrow.

Jason - It was the first head's droopy left eye that was getting to me. The new head is looking much better - nearly finished the whole thing in fact. More later......

        One Tirailleur Marocain:

I surprised myself with how quickly this one went, but it is a very simple bust.

                Thank chaps.

I've since done a tiny bit of remedial work to the face:

He's safely in the cabinet now.

Wow! I like this a lot. Certainly not seen anything like this before. You must be pleased with how it has turned out. Are there any similar busts/figures out there you can do??

                          Morning Peter

Superb figure, you have captured the North African complexion just right, well done.

                          What next I wonder?

I'm still practising sitting and listening to an audio book at the moment, as nothing has arrived from work to allow me access to the work server, yet!

Back to summer weather cold and raining!

Have a good day with your next victim

                          Regards

                          Steve H

Stevie J - There are a few out there though they tend to be in smaller scales, 1/12 to 1/16. This is a bit of a hybrid, but I'm glad you think it works.

Steve H - Pleased that you like him. Work sounds like a doddle at the moment - good if it stays that way for a while, then at least you can get some reading done! Cold and damp here; so depressing, especially as it means that Katherine's pepper plants aren't doing so well (her major concern and so therefore mine!).
