Steve - Katherine would only be happy if I gave up the hobby - ''All that time sitting at the table can't be good for you. No wonder you get headaches.'' etc etc. The torso had quite marked recesses for the MP44 ammo pouches and the kit ones were nicely curved to fit, so that's why I used them in the end. Should get him finished today, though seem to be suffering a bout of 'flu, so we'll see.
Today I finished the personal gear then added the guns and straps. Once I'd stuck him to the base I did some weathering with pastels to get the two to blend and to dirty up his clothes a bit..
Another exceptional figure Peter. The equipment items are gems in their own right, and combine beautifully to make the whole. The discreet weathering is spot on too.
