Blimey that's a blast from the past!
I wasn't a skinhead by any stretch of the imagination but I loved those Trojan records!

Glad to revive nostalgic memories of Bovver Boots chaps - I wore DMs exclusively from 1983 - 1993. Sorry Allen, I should have realised that they were a bit of a British thing, though the US rappers did get into them briefly in the late 1980s.

Managed to do some painting today:

A typical Moz Corry face, unusual, but very nice to paint. The helmet will need a coat of matt varnish, and will be weathered later - remembered to paint the yellow hackle on the side.

Good work on show here as always Peter. He looks a bit like Old Billโ€™s mate Little Alfie...

Peter, thanks for sharing this. It is of interest as I have family members who served in the LF in WW1(and later). Sadly my great uncle never made it back.

Tony - I'll try to do your great uncle's memory justice.

John - Many thanks.

Morning Peter
Lovely work on the new head, well done.
Odd weather here, frost and mist and 0 ยฐC too.
It looks like a busy few days ahead at work with Storm Bella!
Seems the South got the worst of it?
Have a good day with the paints.
Regards

Morn Peter,

I hope things have quieted down and you get some quality table time. The head is looking very good so far and I'm sure the rest will too...

Prost
