    1/10 Feldgendarmerie.

    Hi all
Just made a start on this bust of a German motorcycle feldgendarmerie…
Still a bit of work to do on the face but the helmet is about done. I’ve hand painted the helmet decals but I might add a bit more camo whitewash to hide any flaws?..Click image for larger version

ID:	1158993I was always put off this one by the goggles and it’s been a bit of a challenge getting them to some thing I’m happy with …lots of trial and error.
Put some water effect on the lenses to give it a bit of gloss!
    Thanks for now
    Jason

Face is fantastic as always. The goggles are excellent as well. Are they hollow or is that all painted?

Thanks Chaps... the goggles are solid... so yes its painted... Painted a shadow at the top then a base colour of the helmet and then kept adding lighter shades from the bottom and fading them upwards.....tried it a few times and ended up with this!

The head is about done now… unfortunately I overloaded the super glue on the head for fixing the helmet and a trickle ran down the face by the eye so there’s some cleaning up to do!
