Mookies latest,1.8th Scots soldier first world war

    Howdy guys.
A sneak preview of a bust i started last year and finally got him cast last week.Depicts a Scottish soldier with Balmoral bonnet.Wearing a rudimentary gas protection in the form of a pad doused in chemicals and held on with bandages etc.A guy whos grandfather wore similar said in desperation some piddled over them.Better to have a face full of piddle than mustard gas me thinks.Anyway his nibs is 1.8th and hoping to sell in the New year.Had a long lay off doing other stuff. Then again these times arent great for so many and hope you are all keeping safe and well.

That’s something different Richard. I always wonder about the person that was the first one to try the pee trick though….I’d be more inclined to run away rather than hang about widdling on a hanky…..

Looks great Richard. It must have been horrendous for those guys when the best choice was a face full of chemicals or urine.
