Just started, well a week into it now, on one of Foxwoods figures the Christmas Truce 1914, 6th Cheshire Territorials. Kit comes in pieces, main torso, right arm, right hand holding the football, left hand holding a bottle of plonk, head with hat and part of the scarf molded as one. need to finish of his eyes and pop a bit more red into his cheeks. Scarf has been blocked out in acrylics ready for oils.

The ball isn’t that shiny, it’s just the ‘studio’ light

Got the oils out and painted his coat and cap. After a bit of research, changed his scarf to this one , 1874nortwich football club, just base layers so still to be detailed with shadows, highlights and dirt.
