Evening chaps,
Jim, thank's very much mate. With the lighting and all that pale Khaki the figure looks a bit washed out, so i'm glad now i gave him that bit of extra shading and a tan, as the face is pretty much the only thing in the photographs with a bit of contrast.
Hi Mark, cheers for looking in, although he is a bit lacking in the body department ,i.e. a bit small, it was an enjoyable figure to paint up.
Hello Steve, he has turned out OK, it is a nice sculpt and very well cast, so painting is relatively easy. Also a bit of a first for me, i did a bit of research. Wanted to know what the ribbon on his chest is...discovered it is " The Queens South Africa Medal". Great thing about modelling is we can learn something new with each new build.
Just as a thought, i took a picture of him in the Brodie helmet, i still think that speaks WW1 to me, What do you lads think?

Hi Richard
Cheers for looking in, I appreciate your comments, you are very kind ?. I still have a couple Tommy's War figures in the stash myself. Would be nice to be able to see Darren, but not likely I can make Telford. Just the other day I was clearing out a cupboard (that means taking stuff out and then realising you want to keep it, so back it goes) I came across the IPMS magazine from the last time I went 2018. Then the Health emergency ..... I must make a concerted effort to make 2025.

Hi all,
Just a quick update. Tim Marlowe kindly let me know that I had completely overlooked painting the under surface of the Wolesley helmet in the appropriate colour, so corrected that today, Grass green it is supposed to be here is here is the first coat. Needs a second as it quite difficult to reach now the plinth is glued on, but I will definitely get a second coat on later.
Thanks Tim.
