          Nice subtle colours .
          Good idea with the plastic rod for the staff, rather than the resin .

                Great stuff Peter. As John says, lovely soft colouring - the oil over acrylic technique certainly allows for some subtle blending.

                  Looks excellent. As others have mentioned I think you have really pulled off the subdued colouring. Now it is completed the 'floating hand' looks OK. It is perhaps true that a rather plain bust like this needs more thoughtful painting than one that has lots of detail and bright colours.
                  Anyway - well done :smiling4:
